Description

The shell is made of waterproof, breathable, and wind-resistant H2No® Performance Standard 2-layer 100% recycled polyester plain weave that supports First Mile—a people-focused initiative that offers an income source for plastic bottle waste collection networks in low-income communities. The lining is 100% recycled polyester taffeta. Both the shell and lining are treated with a durable water-repellent (DWR) finish made without perfluorinated chemicals (PFCs/PFAS) to shed light moisture. The parka is insulated with toasty 700-fill-power 100% Recycled Down (duck and goose down reclaimed from down products). Baffle channels are taped to the shell to prevent the down from shifting, which eliminates “cold spots” in the parka. The two-way, center-front zipper has a zipper garage at the chin for comfort, a wind flap, and snap closures. The insulated, fixed hood has hidden drawcords that cinch down for protective warmth, and internal storm cuffs lock out the cold. On-seam handwarmer pockets feature a soft, brushed tricot lining, and an internal zippered pocket secures your phone and other necessities. This parka is made in a Fair Trade Certified™ factory, meaning that the people who made this product earned a premium for their labor.
