Denisa Šulcová

Denisa is a pro climber and unstoppable ultra trail runner. She completed the French Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc race and runs Slovakia’s most challenging ultra marathons held in the mountains (e.g. Tatranská šelma 50 km/3,000 m or Nízkotatranská stíhačka 105 km/ 5,740 m).

She was born and lives in Poprad where the mountains are her natural playground for hiking, climbing and bouldering. During winter seasons, Denisa works as professional ski instructor and freeride camp guide in High Tatras. She also organises the International Mountain Film Festival in Poprad with a long tradition of almost two decades.


She is a proud mom of two active girls, Karolína and Juliana, who are her best mates on every outdoor adventure. They love to go camping together and sleep in their favourite "million stars hotel".
