GET PROTECTED FROM THE ELEMENTS

A versatile and reliable piece of outerwear for year-round use in the rain, snow or high humidity in most outdoor settings. The updated Torrentshell products are made up of 3-layers: a water-repellent DWR treated 100% recycled nylon shell fabric, a waterproof and breathable membrane, and an ultralight knit backer. The H2No® Performance Standard certifies the material to be completely waterproof, windproof and breathable. A laminated scrim helps disperse the water vapor build-up and minimizes the risk of water leaking through; it also increases the durability and tear-resistance of the fabric. 

FOCUS ON DETAILS

A hood with a laminated visor was designed with ample room for use with a helmet, but it‘s adjustable with a simplified cord-and-hook system to cinch it over your face. The velcro closures of the cuffs and a drawcord hem seal out the elements. The front zipper, venting pit zips, and handwarmer pocket zippers are all DWR treated and have storm flaps. The tricot back and microfleece lining around the neck add comfort. Also, the jacket self-stuffs away quickly and easily into its left pocket, so you can be ready for any weather with just a small package.
