It has been our goal to become a B-Corp since day one. In the past years, we have gone through a hard preparation and we have made a lot of decisions in order to set up wilderoben’s operation along with the certification requirements.
To become certified, we went through a thorough assessment that looked into our social and environmental performance in five different impact areas: Governance, Community, Workers, Environment and Customers.
The B Impact Assessment takes a holistic approach, rather than focusing on just one field. It covers the company’s entire operation and measures its positive impact in areas of governance, workers, community, environment as well as customers.
Becoming a B-corp does not mean we have concluded our B-Corp journey. On the contrary, obtaining the certification has become our long-term commitment to self-improvement. Companies which receive certification have to go through a re-certification process every three years while the B Impact Assessment process is also continuously evolving.
